$ Tip of the Day # 22:
Little Me and Future Me: Who are you listening to? http://nippybetz.wordpress.com/
I was blessed to spend the weekend with a Christian business coach, Marshawn Evans, founder of the Godfidence Institute. She spoke on the impact of little me and future me on each of us! She asked us to imagine if we could talk to Future me 1 year from now. What would we want him to thank us for doing?
Unfortunately, too many of us listen to little me instead who always tries to stop us from achieving our purpose! Many of you are starving to fulfill your purpose. You have ideas and cravings that have been planted in each of you by God our Father! Yet you sit there and let little me tell you that you can’t achieve what you were created for. He tells you that you aren’t good enough, smart enough, talented enough, etc. to achieve God’s will for your life. So you sit there as you read this blog and feel pregnant with labor pains wanting to birth the idea, the book, the invention, the business, the degree, etc., that you have locked in you.
As you sit there 10 months pregnant, with God’s gift trying desperately to get out of you,future me is imploring you to let go and let God! Let go of your fears, your insecurities, your negative friends/family, your lack of trust in God! Don’t rob God! Give Him what he is due by releasing the purpose you have locked inside of you. There are people out there waiting for your purpose to be manifested through you, so get started today by saying yes to the gift God has blessed you with! Future me will thank you!

$ Tip of the Day #20: Many of you are going on college visits soon (if not, save the links for when you do). Be focused and have your questions ready before you show up like many of the other kids who won't be engaged! Below are two links to questions you can choose from to learn more during this visit. You can also stand out from the crowd by being enthusiastic! Enjoy.
$ Tip of the Day #19: It still surprises me when I hear counselors, parents and teens say the time to search for scholarships is in your Jr or Sr year. That's hogwash! This is just one of the sites out there that proves my point that there are scholarships for middle school kids!http://www.finaid.org/scholarships/age13.phtml
So let it be written, so let it be done! Go get your blessing middle school kids!
$ Tip of the Day #18: FB Friends, I have finally started a blog!http://nippybetz.wordpress.com/
Twitter is coming next! I'm blessed to have FB's "#1 group of friends" of different races, faiths (including atheist), sexual beliefs, political views, etc. I'm thankful for ALL of you. As I post things on my new blog, websites, FB, etc., please know that I respect our rights to have different beliefs. I'm never going to post or say anything to disrespect you or your viewpoints and I ask that you do the same. We can disagree, and yet not be disagreeable! So if you don't believe like I believe, just blow past that posting, but don't delete me because I would miss you. I have 617 friends to date and I check out ALL of your pages! Our differences and how we tolerate them is what makes us as a nation stronger. Its what makes us as a network of friends stronger! Happy Sunday guys! My first blog is about teens, ("Find your purpose before you select your college major") but it applies to adults too, if they believe in the same book I read. Even if you don't, I think you will see the value in this posting! I'm not a blog virgin anymore! Enjoy!
$ Tip of the Day #17: If you need help with SAT/ACT/PSAT prep take advantage of the site www.number2.com
It is an amazing tool to prep a teen for these standardized test! Princeton Review and Kaplan are good, but they cost! This one is absolutely FREE from me to you!
$ Tip of the Day #16: Share this and change a life! The cost of college is sky-rocketing! The income of the average American is not keeping up! Scholarships are getting harder to find! Jobs are less and less secure, making it harder for parents to pay for college. What would you do if your next action could help everyone you know deal with the challenges above! How? I’m glad you asked! By sharing the attached flyer with your social networking friends/family, your email contacts, your church, your company, your school, your youth group, your social club, your fraternity, your sorority, your school, and your friends. It is self-explanatory and tells the story about a guy who can help them get their teens/students/employees kids/members/friends into college with more money, than they can earn without him! Change lives today by helping me expose my knowledge and talents with people “all over America”, who need to know what I know! I want to make God proud of what I did with my talents unlike the guy with one talent who buried it. Help me unhide my talents by downloading a copy of this flyer on my website: (http://www.scholarships4all.us/aboutevents.html) and sharing it with everyone you know! I will be holding a webinar in the next 2 months and will invite everyone who responds by registering with scholarships4all.us!

$ Tip of the Day #4: A friend named Larry McCracken taught me about the Economic Why! When I teach kids about how to get into college and get it paid for, I sneak in a little Mac and Dave Ramsey as I try to passionately effect change in a young person's life. There is an alternative to struggling in life. You have to listen to the right people, read the right books, watch/listen to the right tapes, etc. Attached is a clip 9 min clip I did from my father's pulpit in Louisiana. I hope it teaches somebody about the importance of education! The sound isn't perfect, but the message is on point! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIL_MPZVXHs
$ Tip of the Day#3: Why I do what I do? There are those who are going to ask this question because it seems like I'm changing my focus by starting a business. Not true guys. I've been helping teens get into college and paying for it, in many instances, for over 9 years; all for FREE. I've been offered money (i.e., $3,500, $4,000, & $5,000/yr) by teens and parents, during that same time, to help their teens individually find scholarships. I've always respectfully declined. I have always preached that what I do is for all teens regardless of socio-economic levels. So if you wanted my help, they had to join us at EP21, in person or online, and utilize the FREE information. What I have found over the years is that there are people who still want to pay me for my knowledge and abilities, and will never use EP21's free resources as they are intended to be used. God has been working on me to understand my purpose which starts with the great commission in Matt 28, as it pertains to helping teens and their families. By the way, I can't discuss my faith or religion at my nonprofit EP21 meetings. That's like telling water not to be wet! With all this as a backdrop, I now understand that if I focus on my purpose (as determined by God) of helping teens;
(1) I can help teens get into college
(2) I can help teens pay for college
(3) I can help families stay out of debt
(4) I can help teens be able to tithe better after graduation: churches would like that
(5) I can help employees not need to demand so much extra income in order to fund college for their kids
(6) I can help employers keep their payroll down by helping to decrease the need to pay more
(7) I can help schools do better at helping their teens get more scholarships for college
(8) I can devote 100% of my time helping teens by not needing a 40-hr a week job which keeps me away from my purpose of helping teens and their parents
But the "real #1" is that I can fulfill the commandment in Matt 28:19-20. I won't be doing the baptizing, but I assure you that more people will accept or get closer to Christ because of my obedience when it comes to fulfilling my purpose! I love my job, but I love Christ more! When I am able to take care of my financial obligations without the job, I will retire early and commit to what God has in store for me.
But I will ALWAYS provide free services to the community so that people who don't want to pay for scholarship help NEVER have to pay a penny! My TV show does that! EP21 does that! There is too much free stuff out there for people to have to pay for scholarship help. But for those who insist that they want/need my personal help, I will no longer turn them down. I believe they represent the helicopter coming to get me off the roof as the flood waters continue to rise! I've let the boat go by once or twice...I now accept that the helicopter is God's way of saying "I got work for you to do"...Thank God for allowing me to find my purpose BEFORE I died! There are people all over America who need to know what I know so they can do things tomorrow they couldn't do yesterday, just by meeting little ole' me. I'm truly humbled and up to the challenge!

$ Tip of the Day #2 – Scholarships4all.us
$ Tip of the Day #1: I know that each of you know teens who didn’t achieve what you felt they were able to accomplish. Over the last 9 years, I have seen over and over, less qualified teens obtain more than more qualified teens in the form of scholarships! Just cause a teen stands in a garage, they won’t turn into a car! They also won’t get scholarships just from hearing me speak or attending my workshops! They have to do the things we teach! I’ll post tips on this site daily, but I’m going to reserve many of my “super tips” for the August launch of my scholarship institute for teens currently in 8th-11th grade! Register on our homepage (www.scholarships4all.us) to make sure you are on our list for our grand opening on Aug 1st! There are a ton of scholarships available starting in Aug and I will help teens apply for them while their peers are sleeping!
